Fernpool woke up, feeling more drowsy and tired then usual. "Awful day!" She spat, as she looked out the enterence to the frosty air outside. She shook her fur and headed out, hoping that there would be some more warriors out there for her to talk with. "Hello?" She mewed "Anyone here?" Fernpool sighed and sat down, and licked her paws, and dragged them over her ears.

Snowstorm turned her Icy blue eye and her emerald green eye on Fernpool. Her eyes were still heavy with sleep. Stretching and yawning she sat up in her nest and licked stray fur. "Yes, i'm here." she meowed. She flicked her ears towards the clearing to see if any other cats were out and about. She needed to get out there and sort out patrols in a moment. As an idea came to her, her odd-colored eyes flickered. "Would you mind going on a hunting patrol with me?" she asked. She really didn't want to leave the warm nest or den for that matter but the clan had to be fed and as deputy she was first in line to do so.

Hazelkit plodded on into the warriors' den, hoping from fine some nice warrior to annoy. She was in a troublesome mood, even after her last little adventure, wanted more. But she couldn't risk leaving the clan again, she was almost an apprentice. And what if Winterstar said that her apprenticeship thingy would be delayed because she got into trouble? The she-kit couldn't do that, so she would have to stick to the camp, and that was fine with her. Yo, Snowstorm, Fernpool! she purred.

[From: Hazelkit's Ceremony]
Snowstorm padded into the den and shook her fur. She blinked a couple of times to let her eyes get used to the darkness of the den. Locating Fernpool she turned to her. "Are you ready to go?" she meowed. She shifted from foot to foot, anxious to be out by the river where the sound of the water could calm her nerves.
